Meet the Team at Mind the Product [Mind the Product]

Head to MTP Engage Manchester on February 7th and not only will you find hundreds of product managers under one roof, but also a collection of Mind the Product team members who’d love to meet you.

Our Manchester conference will be the first to play host to our brand new stand – a one-stop-shop for all your Mind the Product questions.

Visit us there to meet members of the team, to discuss training, content opportunities, The Product Experience podcast, Mindset, our job board and more.

Chat Through Content Opportunities

When it comes to content, there are so many ways to get involved with Mind the Product and to write for us. You’re probably thinking ‘what exactly do you mean by content?’, so let us be clear. By content, we mean blog posts, case studies, podcasts and all of that good stuff!

As a product person, we’re 100% certain that you have a brain full of interesting ideas, bucket loads of experience that others could learn from, and thoughts on topics that quite probably need to be heard. This is the content we want to help you share.

Come along to the stand to meet our Director of Content, Imogen, and find out more.

  • Maybe you already have an idea for a blog post
  • Perhaps even a draft that’s ready to go
  • Do you have a case study in the making?
  • Or a hot topic you’re dying to have your say on?
  • Is there some content you’d love to see on mindtheproduct.com?

Whatever it is, she’d love to talk to you.

“Via email, we receive guest submissions and questions about content daily, but it’s great to have those discussions in person too,” says Imogen. “You might not think you currently have any ideas for a blog post or feel confident about writing, and that’s absolutely fine. Even if you just want to better understand how the Mind the Product content process works, feel free to come and have a chat with me in the breaks.”

Talk to us About Training

If you’re not already aware, Mind the Product Training enables teams to access the knowledge and insight of expert product managers through our worldwide training workshops.

At Manchester, our training team will be on-hand to discuss:

Interested in Customised Training?

The majority of our clients seek to create a customised curriculum which can be done using our pre-written modules, all designed to flex to meet specific needs. Interested? Request a brochure now or, if you’re attending MTP Engage Manchester, visit the stand chat to the team, including Alice Shyy who will be able to talk you through our corporate training opportunities in the breaks.

“As a product leader, the most effective thing you can do for your team to empower them to do their best work,” says Alice. “Mind the Product Corporate Training offers a variety of frameworks targeting specific topics, and most importantly, reinforces the skill of critical thinking. I’d be delighted to hear about your team’s challenges and to share what we can offer to help”.

Network With us…and Others!

You can also ask us questions about our work in general. Want to know how to be more involved with the Mind the Product community? We’ll tell you what you need to know. Interested in our ProductTanks? We’ll give you the lowdown.

Of course, there will be members of the Mind the Product team throughout the venue too and they’re just as keen to meet you as those of the team on the stand.

For example, team members Amy and Will will be at the new speed networking area helping you to take the plunge and get some conversations going with your fellow attendees during the breaks. Anyone can get involved, no sign up required. Simply head over to speed networking area where slots will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. Sessions last between 15 and 25 minutes.

“Our speed networking sessions were immensely popular at our London conference in October, and we’re excited to bring them to Manchester,” says Mind the Product’s Marketing Manager, Amy. “We know that the drive to engage with fellow product people at an event like this is high but also that it can be daunting to pluck up the courage to make that first move. So, if you’re eager to chat with people but anxious about having to kick off a conversation, or if you just love a networking activity, these sessions are perfect for you. We promise you’ll have fun!”

For the first time at MTP Engage Manchester, you can give speed networking a go

Speed networking sessions will start at the following times in the Exchange Hall:

  • 11:05
  • 11:25
  • 13:05
  • 13:40
  • 15:35
  • 15:55
