Celebrating Product in AsiaPac – A Free Digital Event [Mind the Product]
Here at Mind the Product we love a challenge and when we were forced to cancel our Singapore conference in February, due to the Coronavirus outbreak, we quickly put our thinking caps on.
We knew we still wanted to bring together the vibrant product community across AsiaPac, celebrate all the great things happening, and inspire it to new heights – we just couldn’t do it in person this year.
So, within hours of calling time on one of our flagship conferences, plans for an online alternative were well underway.
“We remain dedicated to the APAC community and excited about bringing together the tens of thousands of ProductTank members we have all across the region to connect, learn, and share,” says our founder Martin. “With that in mind, we were determined to come up with an event to do that despite the challenges of travel right now.”
A Week of AsiaPac
Rather than try to cram everything into one online conference, and make you sit through a whole day at your screen, Mind the Product APAC – a Digital Event will give you a whole week of AsiaPac focused content, talks, and training from March 30th to April 3rd.
From a special edition of the Prioritised newsletter and The Product Experience podcast to talks by speakers from our original line up, live Q&As, exclusive daily content, brand new online training, and more.
Digital Keynotes
Anyone who’s been to an #mtpcon knows we’re all about our incredible keynote speakers and for this event, we’re taking them online.
Sign up for free to enjoy daily talks with product leaders from all over the region, such as Audrey Cheng, VP Product at Pushpay in Auckland, and from across the world such as Janice Fraser, partner at Seneca.VC, and Barry O’Reilly, author of Unlearn.
Watch their 30-minute talks from your home or office and take advantage of the live Q&A that follows.
We’ll be announcing more speakers soon.
New Online Product Management Training
Our online course, Essential Product Skills, has been developed exclusively for this event by experienced product managers to help you level up your product skills.
It contains five modules from our training programme that each teach essential skills every product manager needs to know and which have been honed over years of product training all over the world.
Through self-guided, online learning, including video lectures and interactive activities, our trainers will introduce you to concepts such as:
- Product Learning Mindsets
- Stakeholder Mapping
- User Interview Guides
- Hypothesis and Validation
- Prioritisation
In addition, every day, you can join live Q&A sessions via Zoom to get answers from our trainers to any questions that may come up as you interact with the material.
Exclusive Daily Content
Between talks and training, you can sit back and relax as we’ll be delivering content directly to your inbox every day. From blog posts on product trends across AsiaPac and how to raise product culture small market to insights into the careers of product people at leading organisations in the region – each day will be themed so that you can easily find something to get stuck into.
Our content themes include:
- Monday 30th March: Building Products in AsiaPac
- Tuesday 31st March: Product careers – profiles and advice
- Wednesday 1st April: In conversation with product pros in the region
- Thursday 2nd April: One year on – a deep dive into ideas from #mtpcon Singapore 2019, one year down the line
