Coming Together at #mtpcon Singapore to Hone our Craft [Mind the Product]
On March 25-26, 2019 we gathered over 400 passionate product people from 26 countries around the world in Singapore for two days of connecting, sharing, and moving our craft forward together. It started with a day of deep-dive workshops followed by an opening party right on Marina Bay, and culminated in the main conference in the iconic Victoria Theatre featuring fascinating keynotes and an insightful panel. Thank you for joining us and making our inaugural Singapore conference such a roaring success!
It was delightful to bring together so many product people from all over the region, and to hear the refrain that has driven this community since it’s inception: “We’re not alone”. As product managers we can feel a bit lonely in our work, so by coming together as a community we can bridge that loneliness, find peers facing the same challenges, learn from them, and share our own hard-earned insights.
A massive thank you to the amazing Mind the Product team for making it another incredible conference – from our crew, volunteers, production and venue staff, to our sponsors. Above all though, thanks to our incredible speakers for getting the conversation started and to our passionate audience for keeping it going late into the night!
We’ve been following Mind the Product for years but it’s always been far away from APAC, so it’s really exciting to see them come to Singapore and bring together the community. It’s been an amazing experience!Sherif Mansour, Atlassian

So glad I got to attend @MindtheProduct at Singapore! Loved how the last speaker, Jeff Gothelf (@jboogie) wrapped up the conference in a neat little bow by incorporating learnings from all the other talks into his. #mtpcon #productmanagement pic.twitter.com/qdcXiHWD4T

Awesome advice from panelist Kaia Lai – do things to make the quiet voices heard. It’s good for diversity, both in terms of people and equals, but also diversity of ideas. #mtpcon #prodmgnt

Lately I've been very focused on: how I can have a more global lens on product management outside the echo chamber of "Silicon" West, and how we scale teams by mentoring and growing the talent we have. .@MindtheProduct #mtpcon Singapore has been awesome enrichment today. Thanks!

Mind blown already, @johnmaeda dishing up awesome leadership lessons at #mtpcon. So nice to hear a meaningful alternative for creative leaders which is not the traditional Harvard Business School archetype. #prodmgmt
