#mtpcon San Francisco in Your Words [Mind the Product]
Last July Mind the Product returned to the epic Davies Symphony Hall in San Francisco for yet another day of learning, sharing, and appreciation of the craft of product management. #mtpcon starts with a day of deep-dive pre-con workshops (now sold out), our exclusive Leadership Forum, topped off with fringe events across the city, and culminates in a full day of single-track product talks, followed by our infamous after party.
Last year, as well as 10 impressive speakers we also saw 1,500 passionate product people come together from across the world (20 countries and 36 states across the US) and the resounding message was that product management has almost nothing to do with product, and everything to do with people.
Every year we bring you some of the best minds in product and design from around the world to share some truly world-class lessons (see this years’ speakers here). But besides gaining insights from those all-important speakers, #mtpcon also offers the opportunity to share experiences, best practices, stories, and pro tips with countless other product managers from all industries. So, like product, #mtpcon is also about people.
With General Release tickets about to sell out (hurry hurry!), and as we ramp up for another year of product insight, learning and networking, we’ve pulled together a few blogs and tweets which really sum up what you thought of the last few years of #mtpcon San Francisco, and show the main lessons you took away from the event.
There are a lot of great product events, but for my money, none are better than Mind the Product.Teresa Torres
